Description: MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of Non-Developmental Item (NDI) equipment to fulfill potential future requirements for a radio receiver/transmitter (R/T), amplifier, and ancillary equipment that can support legacy and future joint waveforms. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this effort is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, Small Business Size Standard: 750 employees or less. Firms shall indicate their business size based upon NAICS Code 334220 standards. The R/T, amplifier, and ancillary equipment must be able to transmit and receive the following legacy waveforms: Very High Frequency (VHF) line of sight/ Ultra High Frequency (UHF) line of sight, Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), Dedicated Satellite Communications (SATCOM) (5 and 25 kHz), Demand Assignment Multiple Access (5 and 25 kHz), Integrated Waveform SATCOM (5 and 25 kHz), and HAVEQUICK II. In addition to the legacy waveforms, the R/T, amplifier, and ancillary equipment must be able to transmit and receive the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), the Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW), and the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) waveform. The vendor's equipment must have Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) Test & Evaluation Laboratory (JTEL) Software Communications Architecture (SCA) 2.2 compliance, NSA approved Type 1 Communication Security (COMSEC), JTRS certification and show Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) interoperability assessments for all of the legacy and future waveforms that the vendor's equipment supports. Responders to this RFI should list potential receiver/transmitter, amplifier, and ancillary equipment as applicable that can support legacy and future joint waveforms and meet the requirements listed in this RFI. The responders should list potential R/T and amplifiers that can currently support the requirements in this RFI and potential future vendor upgrades that are anticipated to meet the requirements in this RFI. This market research/announcement is a RFI only. If the MARCORSYSCOM decides to purchase this equipment, there will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) Published. MARCORSYSCOM will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of responses to the request for information. Industry Partners capable of providing the required systems, in whole, are invited to submit a response to this notice. Firms should include literature, brochures, price lists, and capabilities summaries, limited to 15 pages, directly addressing their ability to meet the aforementioned needs to include the required delivery schedule. The Marine Corps will use the results of this announcement to determine what capabilities exist in the marketplace to fulfill the Government's requirements outlined above. Interested firms are requested to respond NLT 25 November 2013. Submissions will be in Microsoft Office 2010 compatible format.
