- 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 511210 which has a corresponding Size standard of $35,500,000. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8a, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2. Requirements for centralized authentication system: 2.1. Authentication for both Windows and Unix systems must be through common Active Directory (AD) structure. 2.2. Software must associate Unix UID and GID with an associated Windows AD account. 2.3. Software must associate multiple GID with user. 2.4. Software must provide provisions for setting the Unix users preferred settings (user login shell and home directory). 2.5. Software may provide an alias for a Windows user that can be used as an authentication name for a Unix logon attempt. 2.6. Software must provide agents (at minimum) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 and 6; Solaris 9 & 10 2.7. Software must support Kerberos authentication. 2.8. Software must provide (import) tool to integrate existing Network Information Service (NIS) clients into an existing AD structure. 2.9. Software must support centralized administration of user accounts. 2.10. Software must support Network File Share (NFS) access for RHEL and Solaris 2.11. Software may provide capability to create local accounts in local Unix Password files and then map those accounts to an AD account. That way different local shells and home directories could be set. 2.12. Software must support Group Policy Object setting for both Windows and Unix systems (i.e., password complexity GPO works for both Windows and Unix platforms). 2.13. Reports are generated from Software for all GPO mandates (i.e., password complexity report) 2.14. Software must have a companion product that will operate like Unix command "sudo" 2.141. Software replaces sudo 2.142. Users are provided "root" access to specific functions with this companion product 2.143. Passwords are never disclosed 2.144. Companion product provides reporting on elevated activities 2.15. Software may have a companion product that will provide a mechanism for Windows users to be provided local administrative functionality. 2.151. Companion product provides reporting on elevated activities 2.16. Software must provide training for users and system administrators. 2.2 All Capabilities shall be lAW the product description. Special Considerations Contract award decision may be based upon an evaluation of cost and non-cost factors (i.e., technical capability, past performance, etc.). What quality control measures do you currently have in place (ISO 9000, 9001, AS9100, NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program))? 2. What is the worst case schedule for an estimated completion of this service?? 10. Can the ALL Specifications outlined in the program details be met? If not, which ones cannot and why? 11. Can you provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for this service?
