- This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted. DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation to procure a CNC Gap Bed Grinding Machine. The project will include all design, fabrication, supplies, labor, accessories, software, installation, and training. The anticipated performance period is 32 weeks. A complete technical data package will be available with the solicitation which is expected to open on 11/4/13. The anticipated closing date is 12/11/13. A pre-proposal site visit is tentatively scheduled for 11/13/13. Details will be provided in the solicitation. QAP 175 is applicable for the requirement. Offers will be evaluated based on a combination of price, technical acceptability, and past performance. The award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. FOB at Destination. Preliminary Machine Inspection at Origin. Acceptance at Destination after completion of installation and testing. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations/. NOTE: the link from the FBO site does not work. Vendors must access DIBBS directly.
