- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition No. W81EWF23143529 is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation will be competed on a Un-Restricted Basis. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334519 Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Waterways Experiment Station (WES), Vicksburg, MS, Geotechnical & Structures Laboratory has a requirement for the following: ITEM NOSUPPLIES/SERVICESQUANTITYUNITUNIT PRICEAMOUNT 00011Each$.$. MTS CONTROLLER & SOFTWARE In accordance with the attached Specifications (Attachment 1). An award for this acquisition will be provided to the vendor whose quote is the Lowest Priced of those determined to be Technically Qualified. FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1)Technical - Providing MTS Controller & Software that at least meets the minimum specifications as defined in Attachment 1 2)Price The vendor must submit the following so the Government can evaluate the offeror's technical acceptability: 1)Sufficient information to determine the quality of the MTS Controller & Software is in accordance with the specification requirements as defined in (Attachment 1) 2) Must include a filled out Bid Submission Form (Attachment 2) The full text of a FAR provision or clause may be accessed electronically at www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
