10/29/2013, THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The NCO 19, Rocky Mountain Network Acquisition Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale CO is performing market research to determine if there are sufficient numbers of qualified Small Businesses; Veteran Owned Small Businesses; or Small or Emerging Small Businesses to set aside a single award that are GSA or FSS Schedule Holders. The U.S Department of Veteran Affairs Cheyenne Medical Center (442) (henceforward shall be known at the VAMC) has a requirement for "Medical Coding Services; medical coding encounters for the various medical department within the VAMC. The Prime vendor awarded the contract shall be responsible for 100% computer storage, security and management of all coding encounters according to Official Guidelines and Reporting found in the CPT Assistant publication furnished by the Medical Association. The vendor are to assign appropriate ICD-9-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes at 95% accuracy rate and enter the codes into the system in accordance with the documentation and the provider's scope of practice. The Vendor is required to have an established "Quality Control" system to allow for the above percentage of accuracy. The awardee shall provide all management, personnel, security clearance, space and equipment (supplies, tools, materials, parts, hardware, software and toll-free telephone numbers) to the VAMC for purposes of performing medical coding services as stated in the PWS. Services shall be performed at the contractor's place of business, outside of the premises of VAMC. The contractor will meet the standards of the Joint Commission (JC), the American hospital Association, and in accordance with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affair guidelines during the period of the contract, to include any option years that may be exercised. All interested businesses who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category and NAICS for which they qualify. Solicitation VA259-14-R-0053 has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Codes applicable for this acquisition are 541611 and the small business size standard is $14.0. Interested businesses/vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)(SAMS) database prior to award of a contract.
