Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a service contract Base plus 4 option years for Automatic Transfer Switch Preventive Maintenance at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304. Statement of Work is attached. It is anticipated an RFP will be released on or about November 10, 2013. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number. Information shall be sent to Rusty.Stevenson@va.gov by close of business November 7, 2013. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 811118.
