Description
Wage Determination 2005-2215 Statement of Work, dated 7 August 2013 Solicitation Document This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 812332 with a size standard of $35.5 Million. The subject solicitation number is: FA4621-14-T-0001. McConnell AFB, KS 67221-3702 plans to acquire the following services: The Contractor shall provide all facilities, labor, equipment, tools, management, and any other items or services necessary to rent, clean, and deliver work coveralls, work uniforms and shop towels to Vehicle Maintenance Flight. Vehicle Maintenance Flight has approximately 18 military and 7 civilian mechanics assigned. Military mechanics shall be given coveralls and civilian mechanics shall be given uniforms. The number of personnel assigned will fluctuate throughout the year due to service retirement, separations and permanent/temporary duty movements. The number of mechanics requiring coveralls and uniforms under this contract shall not fluctuate by more than eight (8). The coveralls and uniforms shall be made of a material which protects personnel from heat, hot metals, liquids, impacts, cuts, corrosives, caustics, and radiation. All performance shall be in accordance with statement of work, dated 7 August 2013. The following is a description of the proposed contract line items (CLINs) as detailed in the attached solicitation: (BASE YR) Shop Towel/Uniform Services IAW Statement of Work dated 7 August 2013 CLIN 0001 - QTY(10 months) - Towel/Uniform Services CLIN 0002 - QTY(25 each) - Initial Sizing CLIN 0003 - QTY(16 each) - Additional Employees *Period of Performance 1 December 2013 - 30 September 2014 (OPT YR 1) - Shop Towel/Uniform Services IAW Statement of Work dated 7 August 2013 CLIN 1001 - QTY(12 months) - Towel/Uniform Services CLIN 1002 - QTY(16 each) - Additional Employees *Period of Performance 1 October 2014 - 30 September 2015 (OPT YR 2) - Shop Towel/Uniform Services IAW Statement of Work dated 7 August 2013 CLIN 2001 - QTY(12 months) - Towel/Uniform Services CLIN 2002 - QTY(16 each) - Additional Employees *Period of Performance 1 October 2015 - 30 September 2016 (OPT YR 3) - Shop Towel/Uniform Services IAW Statement of Work dated 7 August 2013 CLIN 3001 - QTY(12 months) - Towel/Uniform Services CLIN 3002 - QTY(16 each) - Additional Employees *Period of Performance 1 October 2016 - 30 September 2017 (OPT YR 4) - Shop Towel/Uniform Services IAW Statement of Work dated 7 August 2013 CLIN 4001 - QTY(12 months) - Towel/Uniform Services CLIN 4002 - QTY(16 each) - Additional Employees *Period of Performance 1 October 2017 - 30 September 2018 The following provisions and clauses in their latest editions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors. Award will be made to the responsive offeror determined to be the most advantageous to the government in accordance with the criteria listed in the attached solicitation. Awardee will be required to invoice through Wide Area Work Flow(WAWF). Award can only be made to contractors registered in System for Award Managment (http://www.SAM.gov).
