Description

The Naval Air Systems Command PMA-265 intends to award a sole source contract modification to Boeing under the basic contract N00019-10-C-0078 for ECP6368R1. The U.S. Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) seeks to incorporate the Mode 5 Level 2 interrogator and transponder capabilities and the Mode S transponder-only capability into F/A-18A++/C/C+/D CIT-equipped and FMS F/A-18A-D aircraft with Operational Flight Program (OFP) Software Configuration Set (SCS) 27X (separate contract). The integration will support U.S. Mode 5 Joint Full Operational Capability (JFOC) in FY20. The government intends to negotiate the contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Boeing is the only entity that can meet the schedule requirements associated with this procurement. This is an on-going effort with Boeing. Any interested party must have the approved facility(ies) and personnel clearances necessary and also demonstrate the ability to obtain any required clearances in time to meet the schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate their ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
