- DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to issue a solicitation to procure varies types and sizes of Coveralls (Sandblaster Set; disposable laminated tyvek sacksuit with hood/booties attached; general purpose disposable with shirt collar/zipper closure/olefin spunbonded tyvek, uncoated; FME disposable, one-piece/polyester cotton, double seamed/pre-shrunk; and washable, one-piece/cotton/pre-shrunk with blue pockets and collar), with sizes ranging from Small to XXX-large, on an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery basis. Estimated annual quantities are 7400 coveralls. This requirement will be solicited as 100% small business set aside using the commercial item procedures at FAR Part 12 and 13.5. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price IDIQ supply contract for a base and four (4) option periods, for delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Offers shall be FOB Destination to Bremerton, WA. Requested delivery upon placement of any delivery order is 14 days after receipt of order. This requirement will utilize low-price, technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation factors in determining the successful offeror. The applicable NAICS Code is 315211. The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM2-14-Q-0023. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 12 November 2013. The closing date of the solicitation will be on 11 December 2013 at 2:00 PM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFQ will be posted to the FedBizOpps website and can be downloaded at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Firms interested in submitting offers must: 1) complete the pricing, 2) complete all representation and certifications found in the solicitation, 3) provide manufacturer information of proposed items, and 4) ensure current registration in the SAM (System for Award Management) System.
