- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA797P-14-R-0002 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Indian Health Service (IHS), Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and Federal Health Care Center (FHCC) for an unrestrictive procurement for Dipeptidyl-Peptidase 4 (DPP-4), Inhibitor, Tablets (On Demand Use). The estimated annual usage is for 3,526,174 tablets for all strengths of the DPP-4 Inhibitor. The estimated annual usage listed above is for VA, Indian Health Service (IHS), Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and Federal Health Care Center (FHCC). The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor(s). Offeror(s) must state the exact name (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and have a unique 11-digit NDC number. If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Solicitation VA797P-14-R-0002 will be issued electronically in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about 11/1/2013 with a closing date of 11/13/2013. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone requests for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
