Description

SPECIAL NOTICE The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System proposes to negotiate a noncompetitive award with Medtronic, USA INC for the provision of the annual preventive maintenance plan for the Medtronic FUSION. Medtronic, USA INC is the manufacturer of the Medtronic Fusion System and is solely responsible for its maintenance as well as replacement parts. This award is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations: however, companies that believe they can fulfill the requirement may provide a written response to this notice and provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition. All submissions should be sent to albert.jackson1@va.gov no later than 12-7-2012, referencing Solicitation Number VA256-13-1-0103 by 10:00 p.m. (CST).
