Provides over current, over voltage, under voltage and thermal protection. Provides one thermal fault signal for XPM to the PCM. Provides a valid signal to the PCM. Delivery: 03MAR2015 On or Before, 2.00 EA Minimum 1/Maximum 3 Duration of Contract Period: Contract through 2015 This item has no history. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: RAYTHEON COMPANY, EL SEGUNDO, CA.,90245-3507. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii), All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. IAW 5.207(C)(14) The intended source for this requirement is Raytheon Systems. The drawing for this item is a source controlled drawing in which the part must be acquired from a manufacturing source specified on the source control or selected item drawing, there do not appear to be any immediate actions which could be taken to develop future competition. Currently Raytheon Company is the only known source that can satisfy the Government's requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Interested persons/firms may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal or quotation. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested sources may submit a capability statement, quotation or proposal that will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
