Description

This is a request for information (SSN) as defined in FAR 15.201(e). This is not a solicitation. The Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO) is requesting information to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business (8(a)), Small businesses (SB) that can provide clinical laboratory analyzers on a cost-per-test/cost-per-reportable result basis for High Maintenance/Complexity Analyzers and Low Maintenance Analyzers for the following disciplines: 1.Clinical Chemistry Analyzers 2.Clinical Hematology Analyzers 3.Clinical Coagulation Analyzers 4.Clinical Immunochemistry Analyzers The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of qualified sources relative to NAICS 334516 and size standard 500 employees. The Government will use responses to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Qualified parties are invited to respond. Responses should include company name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, email address, DUNS number and a capability statement. Email responses to Teena Glasper at teena.glasper@va.gov no later than November 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM PST. Telephone responses will not be accepted. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or make an award, nor does the notice restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. A response to request for information is not a request to be added to a prospective bidder's list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Interested offerors must respond to the solicitation, if issued, in addition to responding to this request for information.
