- This notice is being revised to announce that a new solicitation number will apply to the Close Combat Mission Capability Kit (CCMCK) requirement. To correspond with the current Fiscal Year (FY) of 2014, the CCMCK solicitation will be issued under W15QKN-14-R-0011. The new point of contact for this requirement is Holly Gregg, who can be reached via email at: holly.c.gregg.civ@mail.mil. ____________________________________________________________________________________ The Army Contracting Command New Jersey at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of PM Soldier Weapons intends to solicit and negotiate, on a sole source basis to Ultimate Training Munitions, Suffolk, England. A five (5) Year Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract will be issued under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii) (A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. PM Soldier Weapons has a requirement for the M4/M16 Rifle and the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) for the Close Combat Mission Capability Kits (CCMCK). UTM is the original source for these items. The CCMCKs manufactured by UTM have been tested, evaluated and used as a basis for type classification under a non-developmental item program. This follow-on contract allows for continued production of the CCMCKs to meet the current Government requirement. This notice of intent is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation, nor will the Government be liable for any costs involved for submission on information in response to this solicitation.
