- A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested businesses that can meet the requirements proposed below. If your firm is capable of meeting the requested requirements and you are interested in this project please respond appropriately, negative responses are also encouraged. The proposed project is for the construction of a standard design Modified Record Fire (MRF) Range located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. Construct a standard design Modified Record Fire (MRF) Range. Primary features include the MRF range (16 FP), range operations control area (1 EA), range control tower (1 EA), operations/storage building (800 SF), renovation of existing latrine (330 SF), covered mess (800 SF), and building information systems. Supporting facilities include electric service, site improvements, and information systems. Sustainability/Energy measures will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 50 years and energy efficiencies meeting, on average, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 189.1 standards through improved building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Demolish 4 buildings (1,172 Total SF). Air Conditioning (Estimated 6 Tons). All interested contractors should respond to this survey by e-mail by 14 November 2013 by 1000 hrs EST. Responses should include: Provide descriptions your firm's past experience on projects with greater than 90% construction complete or those projects completed within the last five years which are similar to this project in size, scope, and dollar value. Provide documentation demonstrating DBB experience for multi-building projects of similar type buildings involving management of multiple sub-contractors. Projects considered similar in scope to this project include: Range complex construction projects which include construction of a range control tower, associated support buildings, and site work. Projects similar in size will include: New range projects with multiple buildings in the scope having total square footage equal or greater than 1200 SF, and associated site work equal or greater than 5 acres. Based on definitions above, for each project submitted include: a. Current percentage of construction complete and the date when it was or will be completed. b. Scope of the project c. Size of the project d. Dollar value of the project e. The portion and percentage of work that was self performed f.
