- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide Janitorial/Custodial Services for the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) located at Lancaster Airport, Lititz, Pennsylvania, 17543. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about December 1, 2013, for a base period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide at their expense all supervision, labor, equipment, supplies, etc., necessary to perform specified janitorial/custodial services. All companies submitting a proposal must be registered and active in the System for Award Management Data Base. This Screening Information Request (SIR), DTFAEN-14-R-00004 is a Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720. All companies submitting an offer on this project must have an active business address and phone number for a minimum of one (1) year prior to award and be within a one hundred (100) mile radius of the FAA Facility located at Lancaster Airport, Lititz, Pennsylvania, 17543. An Office within the 100 Mile Radius must be maintained for the duration of this contract. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the SIR. Evaluation Criteria include Past Performance, Financial Capability, Insurability, and lowest price. The Government will make a single award to the responsible offerer whose offer conforms to the requirements and terms and conditions, and is considered to be the lowest price, technically acceptable proposal. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for Thursday November 14, 2013 at 10:00AM. Interested contractors must contact Frederick A. Lockridge, Contracting Officer 48 hours prior to the 14th of November at Telephone Number 718-553-3087 to make arrangements. Due to stringent security reasons, no other date will be available. If a contractor arrives at the facility on any other date, access will be denied. Contractors without an appointment will be denied access. OFFERS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM CONTRACTORS WHO ATTEND THE MANADATORY WORK-THRU ON NOVEMBER 14, 2013. Closing Date for receipt of Proposals is 4:00 PM, EST on November 26, 2013.
