- Fire Plan Gate specs and maps Solicitation The California Rim Fire (FM-5049) has been designated a Federal Emergency area by FEMA, in accordance with FAR 26.202-1 Local Area Set-aside this requirement is set-aside for only local vendors in Mariposa, Calavaras, Tuloumne, and Alpine counties in California. Only local contractors will be considered for award. The intent of this contract is to supply and install six road gates on the Stanislaus National Forest. See drawings for fabrication and installation details. Contractor will supply and install all associated hardware as shown in the drawings, including but not limited to, sign kits, tie back post, lock pin post and double slider lock. All items on each gate will be included in the price of each gate. Fabrication Notes: 1. Gate length varies according to pay item, see schedule of items for measurements. 2. Gates 25' and longer will be double gates, gates 20' and shorter will be single gates. 3. Gates will be painted with 1 primer coat and 2 coats oil based tudor brown paint. Touch up of any chips and/or scratches shall be completed by contractor after gate is full complete. 4. Gate and locking mechanism shall be inspected by the Contracting Officer Representative prior to gate installation. All quotations are to be emailed in accordance with solicitation directions.
