- THIS IS A NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) ; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN REPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO NOTIFY INDUSTRY OF THE USAF INTENT OF CONTRACT ACTION AND POSSIBLY GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF OTHER POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. SUBJECT: Notice of intent to award a sole source procurement for lodging cable TV services. DESCRIPTION: Intent to award a sole source procurement with Time Warner Cable, Inc. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Time Warner Cable, Inc. The Sole Source purchase will be for Lodging Cable TV services at the High Desert Inn. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit, in writing, complete information describing their ability to provide the following: •1) Provide broadcast and basic cable channels at the High Desert Inn on Edwards AFB for the following buildings: 5601 (28 units), 5602 (30 units), 5603 (30 units), 5604 (30 units), 7176-7208 (55 units) for a total of one hundred seventy three (173) video outlets. Responses may be sent via e-mail to adrianna.baseggio@us.af.mil. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by 9:00 a.m. on November 14, 2013, a Sole Source purchase order will be pursued with Time Warner Cable, Inc.
