- The Government is contemplating the award of a firm fixed-price contract (FFP) for Entrance Security Barrier Maintenance and Repairs at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB-MDL), New Jersey. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, vehicles, supervision, and other items or services necessary to maintain and repair entrance security barriers. This is a commercial acquisition. This action is being procured under NAICS code 811310 with the related small business size standard of $7,000,000. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside. This is a synopsis and does not obligate the Government to award; the Government reserves the right to withdraw the synopsis and any forthcoming solicitation without due compensation to potential offerors. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The solicitation shall incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through the most current Federal Acquisition Circular. All prospective offerors must be registered in SAM, System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) in order to do business with the government. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 Nov 2013 on the Federal Business Opportunities site (www.fedbizopps.gov). The due date for proposals will be posted in the solicitation. Paper copies will not be made available. Following the initial posting of the solicitation, it is incumbent upon interested contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps web page frequently for updates and/or amendments to the solicitation.
