- Commercial Items Clauses i.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ii. AG-0202-S-14-0001 is issued as a request for quotation. iii. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-43. iv. This is 100% set-aside for small business. USDA-ARS, Aberdeen, ID is seeking a FY2014 Winter Nursery in the southern hemisphere approximately: Latitude: 43 degrees South, Longitude 172 degrees East, in the area of Irwell, New Zealand. Winter Nursery FY2014 is to advance generations of barley germplasm. USDA-ARS will provide seed. Specifications are as follows: 1. Must meet our planting and harvesting dates. 2. Must be located in a country that is conducive to seed import/export requirements. 3. Must have a proven track record of seed purity. 4. Must have proper climate to meet our planting target dates. 5. Must plant and properly maintain approximately 400 rows; harvest, provide seed cleaning, package and ship winter nursery seeds to USDA-ARS, Aberdeen, Idaho 83210 USA. 6. Quote must include LAX Clearance and handling fees, and shipping charges to USDA-ARS, 1691 S 2700 W, Aberdeen, Idaho 83210 USA. The commercial items clauses are attached. AGAR 452.209-70 is attached as the last page of the clauses (please fill out last page and return with quote). Total price is expected to be below $10,000 USD. Tax Exempt #720564834F. Evaluation criteria will include and is not limited to contractor past performance, strict adherence to specifications, and timeliness of delivery. FOB Destination.
