- MICC - Fort Knox intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) for sandstone coasters. The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract for coasters, personal presentation item (PPI) #911, size: 4-1/4 quote mark square, 2/8 quote mark thick sandstone material with a cork back and finished with bull-nose edges. Coaster shall be similar in style to Coasterstonecustom.com SKU: CUSQ for Army Marketing and Research Group (AMRG), Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 1 December 2013 through 30 November 2014 with two one-year option periods with an estimated quantity of 50,00 per year. The actual delivery dates shall be established in the delivery order based on the following: For each delivery order issued under this contract, the contractor shall ship product ordered as follows: (1) 40% of total quantity on the delivery order is due 45 days after receipt of order. (2) Remaining quantity on order shall be shipped and are due every 30 days after receipt of first shipment until order is complete. The acquisition is for a 100 percent small business set aside. NAICS is 327110. Size standard: 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The solicitation will post to the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site located at https://www.fbo.gov. Quoters shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award of a contract. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is now obsolete. Quoters shall ensure SAM registration is active and shall not assume that CCR information automatically migrated to the SAM system. The official SAM website is https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Solicitation will be issued on or about 12 November 2013 with quotes due on or about 22 November 2013, 1:00 p.m. Fort Knox, KY, (Eastern) local time. Please note these dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. Paper copies of the solicitation (SF 1449) will not be available. Solicitation must be downloaded at the above listed website. All offers/quotes may be emailed to: karen.e.keys.civ@mail.mil or mailed/delivered to MICC-Fort Knox, Bldg 1109B Ste 256, 199 6th Ave, Fort Knox, KY 40121-5720. Fax or late quotes WILL NOT be accepted. All offers shall be submitted no later than the date and time specified for receipt (see Block 8 on the SF 1449 or the latest issued amendment). Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsive, responsible quoter.
