- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a brand name basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) Only one brand name source will be sufficient for our requirement. No other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. USACE is seeking to find a contractor who can provide Warrantied Maintenance and Repairs for Yamaha Outboard Motor Engines. This requirement will be for a Base and Two Option Years. This requirement must go to a certified Yamaha dealer with a quote mark Yamaha Master Technician, quote mark because of existing warranties. Award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the government that is not expected to be recovered through open competition. This is a Notice of Intent not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
