- Single award contract for the period Date of Award to September 30, 2014, for the Department of Education. Production area is assumed 60-mile radius Washington, DC. Anticipate approx. 20 to 50 script orders and approx. 6 Braille orders per year, with approx. 1 to 300+ pages per order. Operations include proofreading initial and revised copy of forms, regulations, technical manuals, training material, information material, reports, letters and posters in both script and Braille; checking and verifying all Web sites and phone numbers that is included. The following levels and standards shall be maintained: An average of no more than 1.0 proofreading errors per 3 to 5 pages on an initial reading; No more than 0.5 proofreading errors per page on revised readings.
