Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 8 Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8-San Juan is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Small Businesses. The requirement is for the delivery of U.S.P. medical grade liquid bulk oxygen to supply the VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The period of performance will be December 1, 2013 through March 31, 2014 with One (1) Option period will be offered. The contractor will be called by designated personnel when the level of oxygen in the lead tank reaches 50% of the tank capacity. Contractor shall then deliver medical grade liquid oxygen within forty-eight (48) hours after receiving the delivery request. This sources sought announcement is not a request for proposals and the Government is not committed to award a contract pursuant to this announcement. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purpose only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responds. All responses shall be submitted via e-mail no later than November 12, 2013, 9:00 AM, Puerto Rico Time to the attention of Mary.Gugliano@va.gov
