Description
Please note that the start/end time of the Industry Day scheduled for 13 November 2013 has changed. The Industry Day will take place from 9:30am until 1:00pm. The date and location remains the same. Frequently Asked Questions: Question: What documents do I need in order to get on base? Answer: In order to enter Fort Belvoir, drivers must provide a valid state driver's license and all occupants must provide a photo ID. All visitors without DOD identification must enter through the Tulley Gate. Question: What documents will I need in order to gain entrance to the Gelini Gate? Answer: The Government will provide a shuttle for all attendees from the NVESD Visitor Center to the location of the Industry Day. All attendees must obtain a visitors pass from the NVESD Visitor Center prior to boarding the shuttle. In order to obtain a Visitor pass, attendees must provide a valid driver's license and be a U.S citizen or possess a Green card. Individuals that have not been registered for the Industry Day will not be granted access to the compound. Directions to Fort Belvoir and the NVESD Visitor Center (via the Tulley Gate) have been attached to this announcement. Question: Where can I park my car? Answer: Attendees may park in the NVESD Visitor Center parking lot. Question: How much time should I allow for obtaining the proper Visitor pass? Answer: The Visitor Center opens at 0800 hours. Considering the Government anticipates approximately 40 attendees, it is recommended you arrive no later than 0830 hours. Question: Is there an agenda? Answer: Yes, an agenda is attached to this announcement.
