- Facility Assurance, Inspections, Monitoring and Occupational Safety (FAIMOS) NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC), Hampton VA IMPORTANT: This requirement began as NASA-LARC-SS-QUASI. The actual solicitation and all future postings related to the requirement will be posted under this solicitation number NNL14493618R. NASA Langley plans to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the Facility Assurance, Inspections, Monitoring and Occupational Safety (FAIMOS) contract. The anticipated release date of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is late November 2013. The FAIMOS contract scope includes, but is not limited to, support services for quality and mission assurance, facility and construction inspection functions, occupational safety, and industrial hygiene. The FAIMOS procurement will be an 8(a) Set-Aside competition for follow-on contract support services currently being provided under contract NNL09AA00C, Safety and Quality Assurance Contract (SQAC). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The NAICS code and Size Standard are 541690 and $14M, respectively. The Government intends to conduct the evaluation and selection for the FAIMOS effort through a Past Performance Price Tradeoff approach; there will not be a Mission Suitability Factor. The anticipated release date of the Final Request for Proposal (RFP) is late December 2013. (Note that these dates are for planning purposes only and are subject to change). The government does not intend to hold a pre-proposal conference. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. Once the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) is released it will be available on FedBizOpps and the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
