Description
Announcement Program List for one-on-ones USTRANSCOM’s Acquisition Directorate, Distribution Process Owner (DPO) Division, will be conducting the 3rd Annual Information Technology (IT) and Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) Industry Day meeting on 5 Dec 2013 from 0800-1530. An overview of upcoming procurements for the IT and A&AS programs will be presented in the morning from 0800 to 1100. The Government will also be conducting one-on-one break-out sessions for each program every ten minutes in the afternoon from 1200 to 1530. The agenda will be posted to http://www.fbo.gov on or before 3 Dec 13 with the briefing slides to follow the event. The Government will not provide any reimbursement for attending this event. Pre-Registration: Contractors interested in attending the Industry Day must submit an email to USTC-TTILO@ustranscom.mil by 22 Nov 2013 to include the following information: a. Contractor (Company Name)/Division b. Business Size/Socio-economic Status: Small/Large/8(a)/ SDB/ WOSB/ VOSB/ SDVOSB/ HUBZone ((should match what is identified in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov)) c. GSA Schedule/GWAC Number/IDIQ Contract (if any) d. Point of contact information for each attendee to include the following: Name: Phone Number: E-Mail Address: Note: If the attendance limit is reached, contractors may be contacted to limit the number of attendees. e. Request for one-on-one session(s) with Contract Specialist and Program Manager from the attached list of programs. Please identify top two choices and two alternates. We will try to accommodate your top two selections. Contractors with multiple divisions represented will be limited to two sessions. Available times will be filled in order of registrations received. Small Business Specialists will also be available at the Base Education Office from 1200 to 1530. Time slots can be reserved upon request. f. Request for visitors pass to Scott AFB (if required). Must provide the person(s) name as it appears on their driver’s license or Government issued identification, date of birth, make and model of car and license plate state and number. Car information is not required if a rental, but the driver will need to present rental agreement at the visitor center. Please allow additional time to process the visitor center as it becomes very busy in the morning. Personnel requiring passes that are not preregistered may be turned away from Scott AFB the day of the event. The Government will confirm receipt of your Pre-Registration and provide a base map via E-Mail. We also intend to provide your one-on-one session times with room assignments in advance. Hotel Information: No special lodging arrangements have been made for this event. Attendees will need to make their own reservations. Lodging accommodations within 15 minutes of Scott AFB can be found in the surrounding towns of O’Fallon, Shiloh, Lebanon and Fairview Heights. The following hotels are easily accessible from I-64 and in close proximity to Scott AFB, IL: Hilton Garden Inn, O’Fallon, IL: 618-624-4499 Drury Inn & Suites Shiloh, /O’Fallon, IL: 618-624-2211 Holiday Inn Express, Shiloh, /O’Fallon, IL: 618-632-9400 Four Points by Sheraton, Fairview Heights, IL: 800-460-7456 Topics of Interest: USTRANSCOM is soliciting topics/questions that would be most beneficial to present during the morning session. Please email suggested topics to USTC-TTILO@ustranscom.mil by 15 Nov 2013. Conference Check-In: Conference check-in will begin at 0730 with the morning session to begin at 0800 at the Scott AFB Club. Refreshments: Water will be available; however, no other refreshments (food or beverages) will be provided or available for purchase during the morning session. Restaurants: Scott Club (starts serving lunch at 1100) Burger King - located next to the Scott AFB Education Center Food Court - located between the Commissary and Base Exchange Bowling Alley – located on W. Martin St Pronto Pizza – located on W. Martin St, East of the Bowling Alley (shares the same parking lot with the Bowling Alley)
