- Amendment 0002 11/12/13 Amendment 0002 issued to extend the closing date to 12/04/13. Purchase Description updated. *** 10/15/2013 Amendment 0001 issued to extend the closing date to 11/15/2013. *** DLA Aviation Richmond intends to issue a solicitation to procure 2 Universal Grinding machines and a Jib Crane for use at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast. The solicitation will result in a Firm, Fixed Price Contract with completion required in 320 days ARO. Request for Proposal SPM4A8-13-R-0070 is Full and Open Competition. A complete technical data package DLA-A-VIBB 13-20-1204 including all design, fabrication, supplies, labor, accessories, installation, and training requirement is included as a part of the solicitation. FOB will be at Destination with preliminary inspection at Origin and Final Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The solicitation is anticipated to issue on 08/29/2013 and close on 09/30/2013. **A site visit is tentatively scheduled in early September. The actual date will be finalized and included in the solicitation. A copy of the solicitation will be available via DLA DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF) To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com If the solicitation cannot be found on DIBBS after the issue date contact the buyer for an electronic copy. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requesters. This solicitation includes provision 52.215-9023 Reverse Auction. Since a Reverse Auction may be conducted, offerors are encouraged to access the ProcureX system to self-register and review the available training tools at dla.procurexinc.com to learn more about how to participate in an auction. Offerors who do not self-register will be loaded at the time of auction by DLA.
