- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Textbooks prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is [W911QY-13-P-TXTBKS] and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is [511130] with a small business size standard of [500 employees]. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. Only qualified offerors registered in CCR and ORCA under this NAICS Code will be considered for this RFQ. The solicitation will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on [20 November 2013 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Time]. Response should include the following information: 1.Delivery lead time, FOB, to Fort Rucker, Alabama. 2.Description of the Requirement: The Following Textbooks are required: a)Human Error Approach to Accident Analysis ISBN: 978-0-1873-7 Quantity:216 b)2012 Edition NFPA 101 Life Safety Code ISBN: NFPA Item #10112 Quantity: 414 c)Aircraft Accident Investigation ISBN: 978-1-892944-17-7 Quantity: 216 d)29 CFR 1910 General Industry Standards (Current Ed) ISBN: 1-59959-268-1 Quantity: 414 The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP)-type contract pursuant to FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Offerors must submit quotes on the full quantity identified. Award shall be made to a single offeror. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. The place of performance is Ft Rucker, AL. BILLING ARRANGEMENTS: Charges related to the contract shall be processed through Wide Area Work Flow according the contract requirements. Any charges, in addition to the agreed contract, must be prior approved by the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to fulfill the requirement.
