Description

Request for Proposal for Steam Distribution Contract Steam Distribution and Minor Repairs Solicitation Number: GS-11P-13-YM-D-0053 Notice Type: Solicitation This acquisition is being solicited using full and open competition. NACIS CODE: 221330 Synopsis: A Firm-Fixed-Price Contract combined with a single-award IDIQ component will be utilized for this acquisition. This will provide a lower level of risk to the Government as described in FAR 16.202-1, place maximum risk upon the contractor, and be an incentive for the contractor to perform effectively and efficiently. The contract includes one base year and four (4) option years to be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. This method is more appropriate than a multiyear order as the maintenance is to be performed annually. The Government anticipates making award without discussions.
