- MEAL ROSTER - PROPOSAL This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being solicited and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912L7-14-T-0001 is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70. This requirement is being advertised as a 100% small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 722320 with a Small Business Size Standard of $7M. All responsible Small Business sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. The following clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR FAR 52.212-2 EVALUATION - COMMERCIAL ITEMS: (FILL-IN) As prescribed in 12.301(c), the Contracting Officer may insert a provision substantially as follows: Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1) Vendor must be current with www.SAM.gov Certification. 2) Vendor will include in a FULL Menu for the dates requested 01-20 DEC 2013 and provide the Cost Per Person/Meal. 3) Provide a GRAND TOTAL for the Proposal. 4) Vendor must submit your proposal on time or your proposal will not be considered for award process. Check for Advertisement Modifications in FedBiz Ops. 5) Award will be based on Best Value and technically acceptable proposal. 6) Caterer will provide all necessary condiments for each meal. 7) Vendor must provide your DUNN & Bradstreet number, TaxID, and CAGE Code with your proposal. (c) An email notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE Proposal closes 22 NOV 2013 at 4:00pm CST The meals will be for the 1176th Trans. CO. The meals are for the Tennessee Army Nation Guard training for the period of performance 01 DEC thru 20 DEC 2013 Grand total of 7,498 meals. - The meals will need to be delivered by the following directions: VTS, 1202 East Carroll Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388 Breakfast: delivery before 6:30am -10:00am local standard time to the training site - 15 menu selections for breakfast Dinner: delivery before 5:30pm local - 7:30pm local standard time to the training site - 15 menu selections for dinner Please fill the attached Meal Roster with your proposal and send it back to me - Send your proposal to Rhonda.M.Lien.CTR@mail.mil In order for your proposal to be consider the following are require: 1) Vendor must be current with www.SAM.gov Certification. 2) Vendor will include in a FULL Menu for the dates requested 01-20 DEC 2013 and provide the Cost Per Person/Meal. 3) Provide a GRAND TOTAL for the Proposal. 4) Vendor must submit your proposal on time or your proposal will not be considered for award process.
