- This is sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses with special interest: Small Businesses (SB); VA certified Service Disabled Veteran owned Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) small business concerns. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Scope of work - Feeding & Bedding to be order are as follows: 1 RODENT DIET, PURINA 5001 2 RODENT DIET, PURINA 5010 3 MOUSE DIET, PURINA 5015 4 RABBIT DIET, P/L 5P26 5 CAT DIET, PURINA 5003 6 CORNCOB BEDDING EQUIVALENT TO BED-O-COBS/ALPHA DRI 7 CORNCOB BEDDING, EQUIVALENT TO BED-O-COB, GREEN TRU 8 ENVIRO DRI BEDDING Place of Performance - all work shall be completed at: DURHAM VAMC 508 Fulton Street Durham, NC 27705-3897 The appropriate NAICS Code 311119 and the small business size standard are 500 Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
