Description

Statement of Work, List of Seed, Clauses and Provisions Combined Synopsis/Solicitation LOCAL PROVENANCE NATIVE SEED Solicitation Number AG-51KN-S-14-0001 The USDA, Forest Service, Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie Supervisor's Office is accepting quotes for supply and delivery of local provenance native seed in accordance with the attached specifications and list. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Any amendment and documents related to this procurement will be available electronically at the internet site http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offeror's will be responsible for downloading a copy of those documents related to this procurement, if any. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ and the documents incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69. This procurement is Unrestricted. The NAICS CODE is 111998. This Solicitation will result in a firm, fixed price supply contract. Offers shall be submitted no later than 3 PM, CT, 11/27/2013. Delivery and Mailing Address: Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, ATTN: Deborah Bates, 30239 S State Route 53,Wilmington, IL 60481. Offers may be mailed or emailed. No faxed quotes will be accepted. Each Offer shall include: Pricing for each plant by species (price shall include freight). A signed Acceptance Statement. Three references with companies you have performed similar work for, including contact name, phone # and email. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at SAM accessed via https://www.acquisition.gov as a part of required registration (see FAR 4.1102) and remain active. Contractors are encouraged to enroll in the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Management Service (FMS), Internet Payment Platform (IPP). To enroll in the IPP-PAID service, please call IPP's toll-free number at (866) 973-3131 or email at bos.ipp.helpdesk@bos.frb.org. This service is free and provides vendors with advance notification of payments processed through EFT. For additional information, go to the IPP-PAID website at https://www.ipp.gov/.
