- A--BAA INNOVATIVE PARTICULATE MATERIALS SYNTHESIS CHARACTERIZATION AND PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY ________________________________________ General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number:W15QKN-11-R-D005 Posted Date:13 November 2013 White Paper Due Date:27 December 2013 Proposal Due Date:24 February 2014 Classification Code:A - Research & Development Description This is a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the US Army Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC), US Army Business Interface Office, in conjunction with the Materials Processing, Particulate Technology, and Powder Metallurgy community, is interested in proposals related to our Advanced Materials and Processing Technology mission area. Efforts under this BAA should focus on the development and demonstration of technology for current and future generation munition and armament systems. This shall be accomplished via investigative efforts in the following nine (9) general technological areas: (1) Powder Characterization, (2) Powder Fabrication, (3) Powder Microstructural Control, (4) Powder Handling, (5) Powder Consolidation, net shaping, & rapid prototyping, (6) Sintering, (7) Full Density Processing, (8) Powder Coating & Component Finishing and (9)Metal Based Energetics. All offerors that have previously submitted a proposal in response to this BAA after the closing date for receipt of offers, and have not had their proposals evaluated, should resubmit their proposals within the time required by this amendment. Proposals submitted after the proposal due date stated in this amendment will not be evaluated. White papers submitted after the date posted above will not be reviewed by the technical team and no evaluation responses will be given.
