THIS POSTING IS BEST VIEWED AT http://faaco.faa.gov, KEYWORD: LSTC The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Architecture and Engineering Division, AMP-400, Oklahoma City, OK, has an immediate requirement for the phased renovation of an LSTC Classroom. This work is required due to an unsatisfactory health and safety issue with the building (mold). Renovation services are immediately needed to correct site drainage, repair building façade, installation of a vapor barrier, interior remodeling as specified in the attached Draft SOW (attachment 1) and in accordance with the Spur Design Diagnostic Building Envelope Assessment Guidelines / Recommendations dated November 5, 2013 (attachment 2). Due to the immediate need to renovate this building to meet pre-scheduled classroom instruction; the project will be defined as a two phase renovation. Phase 1 of the work must be completed by January 31, 2014. Phase 2 must be completed by March 31, 2014. The FAA will not pay for any information received or any costs incurred that are associated with and received from industry responding to this Market Survey. Any costs associated with vendor submissions will be solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. This announcement shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these products. Responders to this announcement may be asked to provide additional details/information based on their initial response. The final determination by the FAA not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the FAA. Any information provided under this market survey is for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if adequate competition exists to set the requirement a-side for certified Small Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) / 8(a) program, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Small Businesses in lieu of opening the acquisition up for full and open competition. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all business sources, capable of providing the phased renovation of an LSTC Classroom in accordance with the attached SOW and the Spur Design Diagnostic Building Envelope Assessment Guidelines / Recommendations dated November 5, 2013 within the stated time constraints. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 236118 Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form (Attachment 3) and Capability Statement. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Type of services provided by your firm Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance) Number of years in business Capability of meeting requirement to complete the renovation of the building in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW, Attachment 1) and the Spur Design Diagnostic Building Envelope Assessment Guidelines / Recommendations dated November 5, 2013 (attachment 2). This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract.
