Description
NSN 1R-4920-015748360-SX, REF NR 414482, QTY 5 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. Solicitation Number: N00383-14-T-0669 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Jet Equipment (60985) & Blue Ridge Machinery (0HC79) for the pruchase of an aircraft E band saw. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed priced contract. This contract will include the repair of the following part: NSN: 1R-4920-01-574-8360 ITEM NM: AIRCRAFT E BAND SAW P/N: 414482 & 8020FW-4 QTY: 5 The government intends to contract on a limited source basises with Jet Equipment & Blue Ridge. Jet Equipment & Blue Ridge are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only knownsource for providing repair support of the above repair part. Thisprocurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 334511. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotationsor capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Mrs. Christine Pennington, Contract Specialist, Code (0262.06), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Approved sources will be solicited on or after 28 November 2013 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
