- Hotel Application Invite Security Announcement Vendor Day The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS), located at Clarksburg, WV is hosting a Vendor Day. The purpose of this Vendor Day is to invite companies to visit the CJIS Division of the FBI located in Clarksburg, WV. This day provides the opportunity for businesses to meet government contracting officers, procurement staff, technical staff, program managers, and contracting officer's representatives. Businesses are encouraged to provide their capabilities to the FBI staff. Due to the anticipated interest, two (2) Vendor Days are being scheduled. The Vendor days are scheduled for Friday December 13, 2013 and Monday, December 16, 2013. Attendance priority will be given first time attendees and small minority owned businesses. Companies may ONLY attend one (1) of the two (2) Vendor Days. If you would like to attend, please complete applicable attached documents and email to Michael.Konchesky@ic.fbi.gov • The address of the Vendor location is: FBI, CJIS Division, 1000 Custer Hollow Road, Clarksburg, WV 26306. • Vendor day hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm EST. • As you will require processing and badging at the Visitor Center, plan on arriving at 8:00am to complete this process and set up by 9:00am. The Visitor Center is to the right of the main entrance gate. • Group lunch at 12:00 noon - 1:00pm. Lunch may be purchased in the Cafeteria or you may bring your own lunch. • Only 3 representatives from your company may attend Vendor Day. • Handouts, stress balls, pens, business cards, mints, etc....-usual items distributed at these events (keep in mind the dollar limit to government employees per item -so please keep it simple!) are permitted. • General "WORK in the PIPELINE" may be discussed with potential customers, but Phishing for insider info on specific task orders will not be allowed or tolerated and will result in immediate extraction from the event. • Laptops, IPads, PDA's - allowed only if wireless, webcams, and Bluetooth are disabled - A Laptop Waiver (see attached form) must be completed by the attendee (with signature) and returned with application. NO ELECTRICITY WILL BE PROVIDED; IF USING ELECTRONICS, THE DEVICE'S BATTERY SHOULD BE FULLY CHARGED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. No external generators permitted. • If the FBI Program staff requests a meeting, your company will be contacted to schedule a meeting. The FBI will provide a projector only, no computer. Projector may be used for presentations. • Cell Phones are allowed in the building only if wireless and Bluetooth are disabled. If your cell phone has camera capabilities, you are not allowed to take pictures anywhere on FBI property. • Company representatives attending Vendor Day must attend Vendor Day the entire time (Company representatives with green badges are not to be going to other areas of the building). Any company requesting to attend Vendor Day must submit all required documents by November 29, 2013, 5:00pm EST via email to: Michael.Konchesky@ic.fbi.gov. Failure to complete all required documents will make your company ineligible for attendance. See attachments. The required documents include the Vendor Application and the Security Excel Worksheet. The third document (Virus Scanning Waiver Statement) is only required if you are requesting to bring a laptop into the building.
