- RFP - N40085-14-R-6703 ***NOTE*** THIS IS NOT A NEW REQUIREMENT POSTING. THIS PROJECT WAS POSTED ON WWW.NECO.NAVY.MIL ON 11/8/13 UNDER N40085-14-R-6703. ***************************************************************** THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR RECORD ON WWW.FBO.GOV. ***************************************************************** the resulting contract, by means of a competitive combination Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Indefinite Quantity (IQ) procurement, will be awarded. The solicitation will be advertised as a total 100% SBA CERTIFIED SMALL BUISNESS set-aside. This acquisition will result in the award of a COMBINATION FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) AND INDEFINITE QUANTITY (IQ) contract MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES. The contract will be procured using competitive proposals as it has been determined in accordance with FAR 15.101 to be the most appropriate method of contracting for the subject project. THE RESULTING contract wiLL BE a 12 month base period and POTENTIAL four 12 month option periods, which may be exercised by the Government in accordance with the schedule. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide the following: all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to inspect, test, maintain, alter, and repair the condenser water cooling system and associated equipment at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, Philadelphia, PA. Both scheduled and emergency services will be necessary. This requirement deals with intricate systems and the contractor must be familiar with the following but not limited to, the maintenance, calibration and repair of pressure, temperature and level sensors and transmitters, including radar level gauges/transmitters and industrial grade process pressure transmitters associated with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and condenser & cooling water control systems utilizing the Direct Digital Control (DDC). This includes the analysis of control sequences and the diagnosis and repair of control system problems. All prospective offerors MUST register themselves on the website.
