- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # FA4625-14-Q-0001 is being issued as a Request for Quotes to service and maintain Vertical Transportation Equipment at Whiteman AFB, MO. The acquisition performance period is for one (1) base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. The base period will begin 1 Dec 2013 and continue until 30 Sep 2014. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-70, DFARS DPN 20130930, and AFFARS AFAC 2013-0827. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290. Evaluation for this acquisition will be best value, performance price trade-off. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be made available. Quotes can be sent via e-mail to 509cons.sollgca@us.af.mil or by fax to (660) 687-4822 to the attention of SSgt Eric Wienke. Quotes shall consist of the Bid Schedule (Attachment 2) and one reference to include company name, point of contact, and phone number. E-mailed quotes using file compression, such as.zip, will not be accepted. NOTE: Questions are due by 25 November 2013, 5:00 PM CST, and quotes must be received by 27 November 2013, 1:00 PM CST in order to be considered for award; late quotations will not be considered for award. Prospective offerors must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) database in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, will be considered by this agency. **There will be one site visit held on 25 November 2013 at 9:00AM CST. Individuals wishing to attend need to reserve with SSgt Eric Wienke before 22 Nov 2013 at 2:00PM CST at either 509cons.sollgca@us.af.mil or at 660-687-5399. There is a strict limit of two personnel from each firm attending. Attendees must have a valid state driver's license in their possession to gain access to the installation. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months.
