- Estimated issue date December 3, 2013 and estimated closing/response date January 2, 2013 Purchase Request#: FD2030-14-00258 RFP#: SPRTA1-14-R-0048 Nomenclature/Noun: Air Data Computer used on the E-3 Aircraft, NSN 6610-99-958-1541AW and Part Number 50-057-05. AMC: 4H History: No prior history. L/I 0001 - The maximum quantity is 15. Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Length 21.78 inches, Height 7.6300 inches, Width 4.9100 inches, Weight 33.8000 (LB). Item Function: Digital computer designed to receive inputs from the host Aircraft's pilot-static system. Send out accurate air data for primary flight data displays and controls. Material: Aluminum copper plastic and other non-farris metals. Currently Meggitt (UK) Ltd (Cage K0100) is the only known source that can satisfy the Government requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Meggitt (UK) Ltd (Cage K0100). Drawing PTS0530 is proprietary. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8241. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests.
