- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation SPE4A514R0104 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued and posted to DIBBS.NSN 2925-01-389-1683, 0050451638, IGNITER, SPARK, GAS, TURBINE. This is a configuration control item to CHAMPION AEROSPACE INC (0AFL4) Part Number-AA134S-1, unrestricted PPIRS applies. FOB Origin. Inspection/Acceptance: Destination. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Quantity: 6925 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 200 DARO or best possible delivery. Solicitation issue date is anticipated to be 11 /25/13 with a closing date of 12 /04/13. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select "Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB)" from the menu under the tab "Solicitations." Then search for and choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at:http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The provision at 52.2112-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
