Description
VETERANS AFFAIRS SEEKING MEDICAL SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease office space yielding 9500-9999 net usable square feet of office space in Beckley WV for use as administrative space. The space must be handicap accessible in accordance with the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (4 CFR 101-19.6, App A) and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. On-site parking consistent with current State of West Virginia and Department of Veterans Affairs guidelines is required. The lease will be a full service lease with a lease term for five (5) years, with one (1) five (5) year option for a total of ten (10) years. The available space must be within the following delineated area: No more than three miles off the main thoroughfares (Robert C. Byrd Drive, Eisenhower Drive, Harper Road, Interstate 64, Interstate 77) and within a three mile radius of the following boundaries will be considered: from the corner of Main Street and Robert C. Byrd Drive in Sophia to mile marker 129 on Interstate 64 in Grandview, and from U.S. Route 19 in Mount Hope to Interstate 77 mile marker 28 in Ghent. Interested offerors must submit the address, property description, available square footage, and photographs. Also, a map or proof that the proposed property is within the delineated area is required. Contact is required by 4:30 EST November 29, 2013 The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. Please note: A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA personnel. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals.
