Description
Performance-Based Work Statement This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The following information is provided to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully provide the described capability. AFLCMC/WWMPA F-16 Modernization Section, Hill AFB, UT intends to award a One (1) year contract to support F-16 Block 30 CWEZ Update program to include re-host of the Zone Acquisition Process (ZAP) software into the F-16 Block 30 Core Operational Flight Programs (OFPs). The contractor developed CWEZ software will be integrated with Software Capabilities Update 9 (SCU9) OFP update by 309th SMXG personnel at Hill AFB. This action is being conducted to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirements for the following: 1. The ZAP software will include the missile models that are resident in the current CWEZ version of ZAP software. These include the AIM-9M, AIM-9X, AIM-120B, AIM-120C, AIM-120C5/C7. The AIM-9X model shall be updated to the Block II equivalent capability. 2. The models will be converted from existing models and no new missile functionality will be required. The AIM-9X model update shall be the most current WEZ available. 3. The missile models will reflect the truth simulations provided by Raytheon Missile Systems. 4. The following CWEZ capabilities will be delivered: A. AIM-9X Block I Air to Ground WEZ B. AIM-9X Block I Zone 3 & 4 simulation adapted to maneuver zone (RMAX, RTR, RTC, RMIN) C. AIM-9X Block II Zone 1 & 2 simulation adapted to maneuver zone (RMAX, RTR, RTC, RMIN) D. AIM 9X Block II Zone 3 & 4 simulation adapted to maneuver zone (RMAX, RTR, RTC, RMIN) This is a request for information seeking sources capable of meeting the requirements. When responding please include: 1. Company Name and Cage code. 2. POC,email address and phone number. 3. Experiences with same or similar items, please describe. 4. Suggested NAICS Code. 5. Business Size Classification for NAICS and qualifications, if any, as any sub-category. 6. Would you be a prime or subcontractor? 7. Lead Time for the task performance. 8. What type of software maintenance contract would you be able to provide? 9. Access information and permission to use CWEZ ZAP proprietary data? Interested parties responding to this announcement shall indicate whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, Section 8(a) qualified, women-owned, minority-owned, service-disabled veteran, or HUB zone, in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). Interested parties responding to this announcement shall indicate whether they are foreign owned. Potential offers are requested to provide an executive summary; relevant history and evidence of past performance/capability to perform the tasking not to exceed 10 pages. Information submitted should be pertinent and specific to that which is indicative of the offer or's capabilities to successfully perform this effort. A vendor point of contact, including an email address must be included in your response. The government does NOT intend to contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Copies of your submitted information will be distributed to AFLCMC/WWMPA and the contracting officer for review. Interested parties are requested to submit one (1) copy of the aforementioned summary to Jennifer Holub, AFLCMC/WWMK, 6072 Fir Ave, Bldg 1233, Hill AFB UT, 84056-5820 no later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice.
