- Attached is the schedule of supplies for the items for the solicitation. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Medical Supply Chain is the inventory control point for purchasing Optical Frames for the U.S. military around the world. This is an open season solicitation from which the U.S. government intends to award multiple contracts to manufacturers and distributors of Optical Frames. Contract terms include a three year base period and (2) one year option periods. Examples of frames being solicited for military use include, but are not limited to, Flight Goggles and Spectacle Frames. Additional supportive information on the required frames can be found on the attached document. The estimated dollar value of the acquisition, including options, is $ 4,600,000.00 annually. The maximum dollar value of the acquisition including options is $46,000,000.00. Each contract will have a maximum dollar value of $46,000,000.00 for the entire contract period. The contractor shall submit a Product Catalog, listing all frames available to the customer for ordering. DLA Troop Support is the single order entry point under these contracts. Military customers will be ordering frames utilizing an internet-based website/Electronic Catalog (ECAT). The solicitation will be available DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), address, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on or around December 4, 2013.
