- SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. Sources sought for: Ultra-Stiff 3-axis Motorized Manipulator • 4" Bore Double Bellows • Manipulator - 200mm "Z" travel, • +/-25mm XYtravel • mounted on 8" ODCF with straddled hole positioning • for vertical mounting (NO support stand). • 8" ODCF mounting flange • All 3 axis motorized and wired • Motorized "Z" Drive Screw Ball Screw 5mm Pitch • Gear Ratio Worm and Wheel 30:1 • Travel 100mm 23875 Steps = 600 turns = 0.8 Minute • Resolution - 0.5 microns • Repeatability - 1 micron • Maximum Speed - 4 mm.s-1 Source selection is based on Lowest-price technically acceptable method.
