- Nancy Foster SOW Ferdinand Hassler SOW Henry Bigelow SOW Okeanos Explorer SOW Thomas Jefferson SOW H - PERFORM ANNUAL FIRE EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS ON NOAA SHIPS; THOMAS JEFFERSON, OKEANOS EXPLORER, HENRY BIGELOW, FERDINAND HASSLER & NANCY FOSTER NOTICE DATE: NOVEMBER 19, 2013 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 423990 - OTHER MISCELLANEOUS DURABLE GOODS MERCHANT WHOLESALERS Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement perform annual fire equipment inspections on NOAA ships Thomas Jefferson, Okeanos Explorer, Henry Bigelow, Ferdinand Hassler, and Nancy Foster. Provide all labor, material and equipment to perform the fire equipment inspections, in accordance with the attached Statements of Work. This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423990, which has a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation number EA-133M-14-RQ-0027 will be issued November 19, 2013 and will close December 3, 2013. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statements of Work is also listed separately for each vessel in the line item detail of the solicitation. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about December 5, 2013. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
