- Description
- The Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands is seeking a Contractor to Re-roof an existing building. Work for this project consists of Re-roofing the existing Bessey District, Niobrara Ranger Station Shop located at the Niobrara Ranger Station. The site is located on State Highway 16F, just South of State Highway 5, approximately 35 miles Southwest of Valentine, Nebraska. Physical address is 88774 State Spur 16F, Nenzel, NE 69219. The work includes removing the existing wood shingles including asphalt paper, replacing decking panels that have been damaged by decay or rot, and installing new ice and water shield, felt underlayment, drip edge, ridge vent, neoprene boots for roof vents and new laminated multilayered asphalt roof shingles. Estimated roofing area is approximately 20 squares. This will be a firm fixed price construction contract. Contractor will furnish all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals necessary to Re-roof existing building. A pre-quote tour is scheduled to be on January 15, 2014 at 11 AM CST only if confirmation is received from potential quoters. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet the agency or relevant industry performance standards and are reasonably prices. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business. NAICS Code 238160, Size standard $14 Million. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Project price range is under $25,000. The Solicitation will be posted in be posted within the week to FedBizopps.gov.
