Description

AppSense - Brand Name Justification Brand Name Justification AppSense Maintenance and Support FSA uses the AppSense Management Suite for the Enterprise Citrix Shared Desktop Solution (ECSDS). AppSense is used to assist with management of user profiles. AppSense Manager provides precise user control with a user-based policy and personalization engine that delivers user and application settings on-demand to any desktop, on any device on the context of the user, location, and time. An order will be placed with Convergence Technology Consulting, a small business reseller for AppSense, to purchase follow-on support at a Silver level. The period of support will be November 24, 2013 to November 23, 2015. It is not practical or cost effective to replace a product for the sole purpose of competing support for a product. Replacing a product can introduce unwarranted risks and can cost the Government up to $550,000 due to testing, integration, and implementation of the new software. It is determined that AppSense support is essential to the Government’s requirements and it is in the best interest of the Government to purchase.
