- The United States acting through the United States Agency of International Development (hereinafter referred to as USAID) and Georgia, acting through the Ministry of Finance of Georgia have entered into an agreement for assistance to promote east-west power transmission rehabilitation, promote the electricity transmission upgrade, reconstruction and operation. Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) has announced a tender for the procurement of equipment, supplies and services for rehabilitation 35/10/6kV Indoor Switchgears of GSE Substations. Interested individuals and legal entities are invited to submit the bids. The winner must deliver the equipment, supplies and services no later than 6 months following the entry into force of the agreement. Bids must be received before 14:30 local time, December 17, 2013. Technical bids will be opened at 15:00 local time on December 17, 2013 in the Head Office of Georgian State Electrosystem Interested bidders will receive the bidding documentation after paying the bidding participation fee of 500 GEL or the equivalent USD or Euro with official exchange rate of National Bank of Georgia on the bank account of GSE (indicating in the payment bill the purpose "Bidding Participation Fee: Procurement of equipment, supplies and services for rehabilitation 35/10/6kV Indoor Switchgears of GSE Substations).
