Modification#2- Memorandum/Errata Sheet Modification #1: EXTENSION DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS AND ELIMINATION OF BOTTLED WATER SOLD BY PARK CONCESSIONER 1. Due to the significant number of questions received, the Service is hereby extending the original 90-day solicitation period from September 3, 2013 to February 5, 2014. The questions and answers will be posted within the next 30 days. 2. Elimination of bottled water provided by Park Concessioner memo signed by the Southeast Regional Director, updated Business Opportunity and Draft Operating Plan can be found on the website- http://concessions.nps.gov/prospectus.htm. 3. An errata to the Draft Contract will also be provided along with the questions and answers. The National Park Service(NPS) has issued a new prospectus soliciting proposals in response to a business opportunity to operate marina and retail facilities including fishing trips and other related visitor services ast the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center within Cape Hatteras National Seashore. The NPS issued the prospectus on June 3, 2013 under the terms described in the prospectus. This prospectus is for a 10 year full service Contract which includes headboat and charter boat fishing operations, moorage, retail/grocery, marina fuel and and oil sales, and related visitor services. In order to be evaluated and considered for award of the concession contract, proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on September 3, 2013. Please RSVP to Jo Anne Blankenship@NPS.GOV or Cherrie_Brice@NPS.GOV. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy for delivery via Federal Express for $45 per copy if picked up in person. Persons interested in obtaining a prospectus should mail, or bring in person, a check or money order made payable to the NPS (cash or credit card will not be accepted), and must include a physical address (no post office box) and telephone number to receive a Federal Express Package.
